Safety Familiarisation.
Safety on the water is paramount. All adult sailing members of the club are expected to be able to use the safety boats effectively and efficiently. To this end the club runs several Safety Familiarisation courses throughout the year, members are taught how to use each of the clubs safety boats. All members are expected to have been through one of these courses, even if they already hold RYA powerboat qualifications, in order that they are familiar with each of the boats and know where all the safety equipment is kept.
The club has two ribs, three dories and one heavy displacement boat
