Duty Swapping
You can volunteer to do duties that have not been allocated. If you discover that you cannot attend for a duty that you are signed up for, then there are two options available:
More than 1 month prior to the duty date, the Vice Commodore should be contacted—they will then agree to swap you onto a mutually agreeable date.
Less than 1 month prior to the duty date, you must arrange for a duty swap, either through Dutyman or by mutual agreement with another member.
You can request swaps directly from the roster after you log in.
Swaps are accepted on a first come, first served basis.
The main roster is updated with accepted swaps.
Less than 1 week prior to the duty date. Please phone the Vice Commodore with some urgency.
Auto Allocation of unfilled duties
In the event that any duty is not filled 2 months prior to race day, then the Vice Commodore will instigate an auto-allocation option within Dutyman. Any member who is required to do duties and has not already signed up for their 3 duties, may find themselves allocated to these unfilled duties. Wherever possible, member's skills will be taken into account during this process.
