The 2020 Open Day is currently postponed. We hope to rearrange to another date later in the year.
Every May Bank Holiday the club holds an open day starting from midday.
If you've never tried sailing before it is a great chance to get out on the water with one of our experienced sailors. If you prefer something a little more sedate then why not enjoy a run around the reservoir in our motor cruiser instead. Best of all it's free!
Whilst with us you can take the opportunity to see the facilities we have on offer, and relax in the peaceful surroundings while enjoying a refreshment from the bar.
Should you decide you'd like to take your interest further our training officer will be on hand, and will happily talk to you about the training programmes we offer for both children and adults.

If the idea of a peaceful morning on the bank with a rod in your hand is more your thing, then why not enter Derbyshire County Angling Club's Fly Fishing Competition in the morning. It will run from 8.30 to 11.30 and only costs £10 to enter. If you're interested they will be meeting in the North Car Park.
After the competition they will be at the Sailing Club Open Day demonstrating casting and fly tying.
